An authentic Korean address in the heart of Paris

Looking for a bibimbap that doesn't put Korean cuisine to shame?
Just a stone's throw from the Royal Palace, at 5 rue d'Argenteuil, for a gourmet experience at Bistrot Mee.

In this small, discreet stall in the 1ᵉʳ arrondissement, Korea invites itself to your table, with an almost perfect combination of respect for tradition and modernity.

Let's set off to discover this refined yet accessible address, where each dish reveals a piece of Korean culinary culture.

Lively, generous Korean cuisine

At Bistrot Mee, the traditional Korean cuisine expresses itself with precision and an extra personality that many Parisian addresses lack.
The small but bold menu focuses on the classics of the Land of the Morning Calm, with a contemporary twist.

At lunchtime, it's impossible to resist the mandu, these grilled ravioli stuffed with pork and kimchi, served crispy.

Special mention must go to the dolsot bibimbap, the signature dish that arrives at the table still sizzling in its stone bowl: crispy rice, julienned vegetables (spinach, radishes, carrots), seaweed, marinated beef and egg yolk: a real treat!

For fans of original starters, the whelk and watercress salad and cucumber with chilli, or mackerel with salt, are sure to surprise you.

The flavours are clean and controlled, with particular attention paid to the balance between spiciness, acidity and umami.

And to finish on a sweet note, try a vanilla ice cream sprinkled with black sesame or a duo of mugwort madeleines: simple but effective.

An affordable, gourmet menu

Good news: the pleasure doesn't disappear when you're presented with the bill.

At lunchtime, the starter + main course menu is available for just €17.A real bargain in the neighbourhood.
The à la carte menu costs €6 for starters, €15 for main courses, and between €4 and €9 for desserts.

In the evening, prices remain low, with the same slightly remixed menu.
As for drinks, the invitation to travel continues: Korean beer (€16 for 75 cl), soju (€14 a glass), buckwheat infusions or roasted rice tea (€5), as well as a fine selection of French wines, including Chinon and Chablis at €8 a glass.

A chic, zen setting for a change of scenery

Bistrot Mee's setting alone is worth the diversions.
Behind a sober façade lies a place with a hushed, contemporary ambience.
Exposed brick walls, Zen-style paper wall lamps, traditional ceramics, large dark wood tables to share... It's like having lunch in a loft.

You'll also appreciate the inked murals depicting herons and tigers, the comfortable banquettes and the subdued lighting that invite you to slow down for a meal.

A chic but never stuffy atmosphere, ideal for a quiet lunch or a more formal dinner.
