Yujin Paris: the Japanese curry that sets everything alight!

If you thought you'd covered all the Japanese restaurants in Paris, think again.
Nestled in the legendary Passage des PanoramasYujin is shaking things up with a hybrid concept combining Japanese gastronomy, smart street food and an ultra-cool hip-hop vibe.
Founded by four friends with a passion for good food (and shaken cocktails), this new-generation bar sets your taste buds on fire... sometimes literally.

The street food (and blowtorch) version of Japan

At Yujin, we're not talking about classic sushi or wise sobas.
Here, it's the Japanese curry which leads the dance - in all its forms: in the fried chickenwith sautéed vegetables or tempuraor with melting beef.

The star of the house? The famous 'Tokyo Drift', beef and cheese sushi flambéed live in front of you with a blowtorch.
Yes, you read that right. And no, it's not a joke.

Alongside the starters, there's something for everyone: a melting tamago egg, comforting miso soup, and edamame to munch on endlessly.
In the evening, the menu expands with dishes to share: beef tataki, crispy karaage, fish broth of the day... with a special mention for the vegetable tempura, which is as crispy and chewy as you could wish for.

For dessert, we kept things simple and tasty: light as a cloud yuzu cheesecake and black sesame mochis (a little sweet but very satisfying).

A short menu, clean flavours, fair prices

You don't need to read an encyclopaedia to order: the menu is short, well thought-out and changes between lunch and dinner.
At lunchtime, it's time for Donburi (with chicken or vegetables) or a lighter curry.
In the evening, it's time to get out the baguettes and try a bit of everything.

As far as prices are concerned, we are in the range ofe 25 to € 35depending on your appetite and your desire to share.
For the quality of the products (the sauces are homemade, the cooking is meticulous), it's quite honest.

And if you're the type of person who likes to pair their food with a good cocktail, you're in for a treat...

Hip-hop, neon lights and a stylish bar: a great atmosphere

Yujin isn't just a restaurant, it's a vibe.
The place is designed by Régis Botta, and you can feel it: exposed beams, neon lights, white tiles, sober woodwork...

The visual ambience is a perfect blend of modernity and a nod to old Paris.
In the evening, the lights dim, the sound goes up a notch with a hip-hop playlist, and the counter becomes the epicentre of the restaurant.

Add to that an ultra-friendly team, customers who come to chill out with friends and cocktails inspired by the greatest R'n'B icons (the 'Queen B' with mezcal, amaretto and coffee is a real treat), and you've got a recipe for an unforgettable moment.
