Sep Lai: the Laotian restaurant that has conquered Paris

If you're dreaming of a tasty trip without leaving the capital, Sep Lai is your next port of call.
Nestled rue Buffaultjust a stone's throw from Notre-Dame-de-LoretteThis Laotian restaurant is a concentrate of generosity, creativity and a change of scenery. With its sunny terrace and friendly atmosphere, Sep Lai is a landmark for those who want to discover (or rediscover) the authentic flavours of Laos, revisited with a modern twist.

Laos on the plate: when tradition rhymes with innovation

At Sep Lai, every dish is a little adventure. The chef Ken Tesoa native of Laos, sublimates the recipes of her childhood by adding contemporary touches. The result: colourful, fragrant and ultra-tasty dishes.

We love the Mok PoissonThis is a salmon marinated in dill and cooked en papillote in a banana leaf. The steaming seals in the flavours, and the dill adds an unexpected freshness to the dish.
Another favourite is the caramelised pork belly with its marinated egg.
The sweet and savoury combination is perfectly mastered, and each bite is a pure delight.

Visit brunchSep Lai focuses on creative combinations: pancakes with pandan and coconut milk, glutinous rice and melting mango, avocado bao or tangy salmon lap with a soft chive omelette.

Menus and prices: an affordable change of scenery

The prices at Sep Lai are just like the welcome: gentle and unpretentious. Count on 29 € for brunch hearty and complete (savoury + sweet + juice + hot drink), ideal for a gourmet Sunday.

THE dishes à la carte prices hover around 15 à 21 €, as the Mok Poisson (€15) or caramelised pork belly (€14.5). If you're feeling a bit peckish or just curious, you'll love the starters such as the papaya salad (€9) or the crispy rice salad (€10).

No long-winded menus: here, we go straight to the essentials, with recipes designed to appeal to palates in search of authenticity and discovery.

A warm and inviting place to linger

As soon as you walk through the door at Sep Lai, you feel at home. The place skilfully blends modernity with a traditional spirit: light wooden tables, touches of greenery and a space bathed in light.

The atmosphere is relaxed, with laughter and lively conversation... it's alive (and that's exactly what we like)! The terrace, perfect for sunny days, attracts both local regulars and foodies in search of new flavours.

Here, people come to eat well and share a convivial moment.
And the good news is that the service is as good as the food, always with a smile and sincere attention.
