The 5 Chinese restaurants in Paris that we present to you don't just cook well, they tell a story with every bite.

Here are our must-see spots for traveling without leaving Paris.

 1. Shot heart ❤️ for Naï Naï:
Accessible and captivating Asia, in the heart of the 9th arrondissement

Heading towards Victory Street, a stone's throw from Galeries LafayetteA red lantern, a discreet frontage and, from the entrance, a warmth that settles in.
We arrived safely at Nai Nai

The place skillfully mixes vintage Asian touches and contemporary art, with decor by Charly Scheck.
On the plates, another story begins.

Here, the star is Tepan: meat or fish grilled on cast iron, All accompanied by noodles and topped with a generous sauce. The crackling sound, which you hear as soon as you enter the dining room, is already mouthwatering.

We tested the Tepan pork curry sauce, tasty and slightly spicy, and the Salmon Tepan, softer, carried by a creamy lemon butter sauce.

As a starter, the broccoli croquettes surprise with their crunchiness and tasty stuffing.
And for dessert? We recommend mango cheesecake to end your meal in style.

2. Mian Fan Dumpling Factory:
a total immersion in the world of dumplings

HAS two steps from the Trinity Church, our gaze stops on a large flashing red neon sign. It is the promise of an immediate journey to the streets of Shanghai. Welcome to Mian Fan Dumpling Factory, the address that makes people salivate Grands Boulevards with its steamed ravioli.

From the moment you enter, the decor sets the tone: an open kitchen, a neon sign inspired by Asian street food, and captivating aromas. You can watch the cooks fold the dumplings by hand, in an almost hypnotic choreography. Here, everything is homemade.

Lis beef and coriander dumplings literally melt in your mouth. The spicy chicken ones explode with freshness.
Special mention to the Beef Bourguignon Fusion Recipe

But the charm of the place doesn't stop there. In addition to ravioli, we enjoy Madame Li's tapas : caramelized eggplant, crunchy cucumber salad or even Peking-style scrambled eggs.

An ideal menu to share with a homemade iced tea.
And to finish on a sweet note, we love the cheesecake of the day (yuzu or red fruits), sweet and tangy, just how we like them.

3. LiLi: palace-style roast duck

Lili : Une Évasion Gourmande au Cœur de Paris

It is a unique place, nestled within the grounds of the majestic Peninsula Hotel, a stone's throw from the Arc de Triomphe.
At LiLi, the experience begins as soon as you walk through the doors. Velvet, sculpted chandeliers, lacquered wood partitions...
We travel between oriental splendor and Haussmannian elegance.

Here, Cantonese cuisine reaches new heights of refinement. Chefs straight from Hong Kong have mastered the art of roast duck like no one else in Paris. Presented in two courses, the dish is revealed in a carefully designed setting: crispy skin served with pancakes, leeks and hoisin sauce, then tender and juicy flesh, served in a wok or broth.

We also let ourselves be seduced by the homemade dim sum, with delicate flavors, such as coral concentrate or braised beef, not forgetting the all-you-can-eat Asian brunch on Saturday lunchtimes. In the evening, the lights dim and we eat to the sound of a DJ set captivating, ideal for a gourmet and festive break.

 4. Shang Palace: the only Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant

When you push open the doors of the Shang Palace, you enter another universe, that of Chinese haute cuisine. Hidden inside the Shangri-La Hotel, this Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant is an invitation to travel to the heart of Cantonese cuisine.

The undisputed star of the map is the dim sum, true gems of Cantonese cuisine, homemade of course.
We love creative stuffings like lobster, wagyu beef, or beetroot and chive.

But Shang Palace goes far beyond dim sum. Cantonese-style roast duck, with its crispy skin and melting flesh, is an absolute must. The braised chicken with ginger and black bean sauce is another must-try, with its perfect balance of flavors.
Without forgetting poached beef strips with Sichuan pepper, which will delight lovers of spice.

The menu is extensive, with both traditional and modern options.
THE discovery menu at €88 offers a fine selection of the restaurant's must-haves, offering excellent value for money for a Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant. For a lighter lunch, you can treat yourself to a dim sum menu for less than €40, an excellent compromise to enjoy these little bites without breaking the bank.

 5. Imperial Choisy: the most authentic

The best Chinese restaurants in Paris don't seek to impress with their decor or service, but captivate with the quality of their cuisine. L'Impérial Choisy is one of them. Nestled in the 13th arrondissement, a stone's throw from theChoisy Avenue, this unpretentious address has become a real institution for lovers of Cantonese cuisine.

Here, we come to savor authentic and hearty dishes. rotisserie, with its roasted ducks hanging behind the window, is a spectacle in itself. But it would be a shame to miss the fried ravioli, crispy as you wish, or the soup of shrimp dumplings. On the flat side, we love the ginger chicken steamed, pork stews or water lilies sautéed with garlic.

Who says authentic Chinese canteen says incredibly affordable prices for a Parisian Chinese restaurant of this quality, with starters around €6 to €10 and main courses between €9 and €15.
On the other hand, you have to like noisy restaurant rooms (or rather lively ones) and fast, no-nonsense service.
