Heading for the 2ᵉ district of Parisrue des Jeûneurs.
At number 23, a discreet gateway leads us into an unusual setting.
Bamboo is not just another Asian restaurant in Paris: here, you can eat in a former textile workshop that has been converted into a temple of Thai cuisine, with a green terrace, an underground pool table and a tea room transformed into a smoking room.
A very special address, designed to make you linger.
Thai cuisine that will blow your palate away
The menu features Classic Thai recipeswell executed, well seasoned, sometimes with a twist.
The must-have items include beef bites with red curryserved warm with a sweet and fragrant coconut-mint cream, or bouchot mussels with a chilli jam.
The hot dishes confirm the good impression of this first introduction.
THE Massaman curry with beef cheek confit reveals an incredible complexity of flavours - cinnamon, tamarind, peanuts - while retaining the spirit of the original dish.
The steamed sea bream is perfectly cooked and served with a sweet and sour chilli sauce and combavas. Simpler but just as convincing is the pad thaï with prawnsA masterful classic that gets the job done.
